Left: refurbished earring, right: "vintage" earring
Four years ago, I bought a pair of $2 earrings from Aeropostale (that teeny bopper store). Though made of some cheap metal, they survived the years with dangly dignity until last summer when the finish started to peel off the base. Now I have refurbished the earrings into real silver beauties. I only salvaged the original beads - I made the rest from silver jewelry bits from JoAnn Fabrics.
I was also a busy crafter for Easter, dyeing my eggs with food coloring and vinegar...

...and making a cute felt chickadee for my mom's Easter basket.

The idea for an egg-shaped chickadee was ripped off from someone elsewhere on the world wide web. I just can't remember who to give you a link.
That's all, folks!
